IMHO, the repro mldg is absolute garbage. Are they still siliconing it on the repro seatbacks? Sorry got to have the real stuff.
We are using the best used piping we can get our hands on. Have to be very careful removing. A good friend from MD & I pulled seat piping off over 40 partscars last July over 2 days, then cleaned & picked the best pieces. Result 2 pair to use on two concours cars & sold 2 more pair. Not a very good claim rate if you are really picky.
