Louis, The Nix is right-on. The Wiring harness has a pink-jacketed ignition wire [with the tiny print 'resistance wire']. You will be wanting to remove it at the fuse block, and replace it [with a GM copper wire of sufficient length from another GM fuse block].

HEI curve kit cost me $10 last week at a local speed shop. Go figue, that I did an extensive HEI rebuild, and curve set, then went and bought the recurve kit and tossed it [unused] in my ignition parts box.
