Ive got maybe 1/2" clearance with a 350 hood. Im using one of the AC Delco chrome 14" breathers. The one that has "PONTIAC" stamped in the top. The big hold down nut that came with it rubbed so I have to use a regular wing nut so it doesnt stick up above the lid. IOW, its reeeaaalll close.
Also running a Qjet.
