[Tempest]

I am doing the same conversion with my 67 Tempest. I am using the motor and trans. from my 70 Firebird. I have the pedals, z-bar, and clutch rod for a Tempest that I have acquired from ebay and people I have found on the internet. I am using the shifter, bell housing and Saginaw trans. from the Firebird and I have to get the z-bar bracket which I know is available at Ames, but my question is,... With the motor out, how do I know where to weld the bracket for the z-bar? It will be so much easier to weld with the motor out.
