Got a column w/ key for $30 plus trade for labor
Acutally fairly easy to remove
4 bolts to dash panel, bolt at interior u-joint on steering shaft and wiring. The column doesn't protrude into the engine bay at all on this car I guess safer that way.
The lock lever to shifter was simple too once i figured it out! The shift button is all thats locked with the key off!
Ps the old column was cracked once I looked closer
plus With me doing the work its cheaper and now I know a little maor abou the car.
Still need to install but I cant see much of a problem. Weathers getting better too.
STill steamed over srupidity of thief. But glad they did really know how to still car!
