66 through 69 Corvair four speed transmissions were much stronger compared to the 60-65. These were based on the Saginaw four speed internals.
Will the late Vair four speed fit? I intend to find out- I have a 63 LeMans 326/auto which is almost ready, and my parts car is a 326/3 speed. I want to change the automatic car over to a manual and will see if it's possible to use a late Corvair four speed. I have an early Corvair four speed transmission I can use but- no drag racing allowed with that transmission!
