The debate is over one guy who doesn't like the fact that I didn't like the writing styles or opinions of an author for Hot Rod. Too bad for him. The other debate is over Street Rods, which I also don't like. They're pretty as hell to look at (chrome won't get you home), but when you ride in one, you'll know what I'm saying. Notice none of the Street Rod "fans" was willing to address that? A BUNCH of guys don't like that. Too bad for them.
I have a right to state my opinion, or "think out loud" just like every other memeber here. I still have my subscription for Hot Rod, just like I do Car Craft, and will continue to do so, for the forseeable future. Its worth it just for the ideas they can give you. Sometimes all it takes is a picture. But the stuff they try to make cool again, like those dumb ass straight axle POS's, is just too much sometimes. If it were still worth doing, a majority of folks would still be doing it. I just feel they're going backwards instead of forwards, including safety wise.
