Anything going 9's needs all the help that it can get and a TH400 is pretty much bulletproof. The company that I used, Phoenix Transmission Service, offers several different build ups for the 700 that will work with various levels of performance, but 9's?
I'd recommend the lock up be used with a street car to ease the stress on the clutches.
