I guess I should have said RAM AIR IV cloan. The heads I'm having done are #61's, I understand they have the same combustion chamber as the 614's. I am getting mild port work done on the heads. I think I'm going the get the studs changed to bolts but, will just girdles will be enough. Thanks for the insite on roller lifters, it was a thought but if they won't do me much good I could save that $500 bucks.

I have has a #9794234 manifold a Holey spread bore and #15 heads on the motor now. What cast intake would be the best for my set up? I think I should go with a dual plane to get more low end power or would an open chamber be a better compromise for the top end. I'm also thinking of going to a 780 or even a 800 carb

I'm looking for the right cam. The motor has a Melling 284 duration,436 lift with 68 degree overlap @ .05., it acts and sounds pretty mild. I'd like something that would realy give the motor some kick, sound good and cammy at idle and be streetable... The car has hydro boost brakes so idle vacuum would not be an issue

Thanks for the suggestion on the switchable torque converter. Who makes such an amimal and where's the best place to get it?
