Run a 160 thermostat. Buy a repro fan shroud. Run the nonthermal fan clutch/with a 7 blade fan. The reason I like a nonthermal fan clutch is that after 2000rpm it freewheels. So at highway speeds it won't disrupt the flow of air. I have had cars that like to run hot on the highway. With a thermal clutch fan. As per the article in hotrod it is one of the least horsepower robbing next to an electric fan. Plus the cost and headache of installing/wireing an electric. I run this combination on my 70 With a built 400, th350 with 3:73 posi in 100+ temps and run at 180.
