I use the Autolite 85's...but go further on to cut the ground lug back at the bend. Then whack the ground lug toward the center post for gap. My way of dealing with ping.
Went for a blast up the highway today after the front-end alignment and got all kinds of pinging: Going to investigate.
Suppose I'll fix the ping problem; then buy 8 autolite 85's [save em for atco]...then try heads-up ET/MPH comparisons on my modified lug vs unmodified/gapped.
