appears you have the right one. Originally, there were a myriad of part #'s for these, as each color of console had it's own part number.
#9790885 will be the casting number of the plastic shell of the '69-72 console. Not sure if '68 is same shell or not (doubt it).
'68's would differ in that no recessed bezel or applique on the top. '70-72's will originally have the button lid...
