I've read a lot of posts about having issues with having too much negative camber because of frame sag, etc and needing offset shafts. But on my 69 FB conv I can't get any more shims in upper control arm shaft to get any negative camber, let alone zero camber. I have plenty of space left on the bolt, but I can't get any more than 3 1/8" shims in. Do I need a crow bar to get more leverage? With too many shims am I going to cause suspension binding or any issues?This is with the car raised and no weight on the suspension. I'm checking with a level with car on the ground. I just want to get it close enough - every single alignment shop I've brought it to seems clueless on these old cars. New upper/lower ball joints, control arm bushings, end links, sway bar bushings, cut one coil off new "stock" springs that sat way too high. Car now sits with top of tire 1/2" from fender lip. I love the look, but did I lower too far?
