"I think it would be great if tom or someone would be able to get in on the design and clean up the flow a little, but if there is only one change to the original design, just put more material along the roof of the port up where it meets the head so we could home modify it to the larger RA/SD intake port for those heads."

Agree totally with raising the roof and adding even more material for porting. Need to have the
entries into the runners cast with nice a nice
radius on the upper roof for smooth turn into the runners like Keith Wilson does on the 4 barrel stuff. Would also be better to have more plenum volume but would require increased height of the
plenum to do it right.

Chrysler did it right if you look at their 6 pack
manifold, (the aluminum ones from Edelbrock) but
we are are locked into a manifold that resembles a
stock looking piece so changes (improvements will
be mostly internal).

If I were doing it, (I am not), I would get together with other members on PY and pay for Bryzinski to do his magic on a cast iron manifold
and then copy the changes in aluminum. He is a
master with cast iron "stock looking" parts.

Great idea to do this project. Hope it works out. Keep my name on the list. Keep us posted.
