I was just reading an article about this in a recent issue of High Performance Pontiac magazine. I'm preparing to do front brakes on my 67 GTO (tired hardware, I believe) and I was looking for any tips/tricks. I'm not replacing the drums though.
I noticed that the article addressed the swags, and I don't remember them talking about a special tool to remove them. I'll check the article and post back.
