Could be a collapsed lifter or two or worn cam lobes. Have you removed the valve cover to check and see exactly which rockers are loose? Check to make sure the rocker arm nuts are properly tightened. Adjustable rocker nuts or rockers could cure your noise problem but they won't correct the cause if it is a bad lifter or bad camshaft.
