Took the 74 455 TA out since were are finally starting to thaw and noticed a backfiring through the exhaust. Suspecting a valvetrain problem, I pulled the valve covers and found loose rockers on cylinder #6. To make matters worse, there is no pushrod on the exhaust side.

Next week I'll be tearing it down, but until then where in the world could the pushrod go?

I haven't changed the oil since I got the TA home, but I'm scared it was chewed up and now I'm looking at biulding the motor again.

Any thoughts are appreciated...
