Do not do ANYTHING to increase the compression.I can not belive that in this day people are still preaching "get the compression up",you need to drop the compresion to 9.5 max.Untouched 16s are 74ccs.Find a competent machine shop to dish a set of TRWs or maybe you can run the TRW with the bevel.Install hardend exaust seats.Aftermarket rods are cheap now,you can find H beams for 350$ and I beams for 200$ just remember to check the big end.If you want to run roller rockers fine but I would not run Harland Sharps.A 2800 ten inch stall will stall at 2800 rpms and run fine on the steet.And no shaving your heads is not smart unless they need it.
