Rich,

I just finished this on my '70. The new tank fit well and looks good. On a car without EES there are 2 connections at the sending unit, one vent at the upper pass side and one at the filler neck. The 2 at the sending unit are your fuel and return lines, the one on the pass side is a 1/2" vent. The factory led about 8" of 1/2" hose from this vent with a small piece of sponge stapled into the hose at the outboard end. The vent up near the filler runs to a small piece of hard line which is fastened to the body. This is done with a grommet into the trunk just above the filler. The hard line runs up into the trunk through the grommet and then back out through the same grommet to the atmosphere. There is a small line clip securing the hard line to the trunk latch with a small self tapping screw.
