Yep a T5 will be toast in no time behind a Pontiac V8. What I wonder is why nobody ever uses the 5spd Gertag trans from a GM truck, they are used behind a 4.3 S10 and a 350 full size truck, I have one in full size truck and tow with it all the time and I have had zero problems.
