That's the hobby level of "no overhead expenses".
Much effort, and attention to detail goes into the rebuild, regardless of who is doing the work.
A fair price is $550, for a cleaned case rebuild.
Prices above that are gonna feature advanced parts or programming.
Converter is always a separate expense, and a higher reliability risk..
