Perceptive note there.
My way of tuning the Q-Jet for high-compression relied on listening skills while swapping Primary Piston Valve springs [went firmer].
Secondary Rods were optimized at the track -DG.
I run the Prat-throttle enrichment topplates.
All of a sudden, that Q-Jet became the standard for all the rest of my Q-Jet builds.
