Those pics look soo eerily familiar.. We are in the very same spot of overhaul.
What method did you use on your frame? I'm just curious to see how others are doing it.
I wire wheeled my whole frame down removing all the scale.. then gave it a hefty coat of Eastwood Rust Stabilizer, then used filler primer and satin black paint to seal it up. and for a final Im using 3M Rubberizer. evened everything out and should protect it really well from rocks etc.
Obviously there are several of us restoring 65's at the moment because we are all fighting for the same parts on ebay all the time!

I'll post some of my pics this weekend for ya pete. looks like we started at the same time.. and both have the same amount of work, goal and timeframe in mind. keep me posted on your progress, maybe it will give me a little more initiative to keep it going.
