my '69 Judge had its block replaced at the Pontiac dealership shortly after it was sold according to the history I dug up. Although the heads, intake, carburetor etc are all proper date codes, the block has NO numbers on the front pad at all. It is blank. The rest of the story (including the fact that the secondary air valve on the Q jet was soldered shut when I bought it from the second owner in 1981) is pretty interesting but too long for here.
