Mike,
You have to remove 3 or 4 small screws that are kinda hidden in the window fuzzy -- look close, you'll find them. In addition (and a real pain) is 1 more screw completely hidden behind the wing window assembly. You'll have to loosen and partially remove the wing window to at the screw near the front edge of the door.
Also, I think you'll have to polish yours. There was suppose to be a repro made, but I don't know if it was ever done. If someone knows, hope they post it.
