i have KAWASAKI ZX-10, and i have icing problem with my carbs on cold weather (even when engine is mid-heat) cause my carbs don't have heat system. icing come with too much air velocity on cold weather.
many old european carburetor cars have water coolant running tru carb/intake system. this system work fine. but i'm agree that exhaust gases can warm up faster the intake than water.
