If Summit is selling them why can't they balance them? Why do they need to be balanced?
Ken K, we are a parts warehouse not a machine shop. Eagle is selling rotating kits at a low price that require balancing. If you can find a lower price on the kits already balanced then you should buy it because it would be a heck of a deal.
RSB RACING, We don't check the cranks when they come in. The only time we would do something like that would be if we were getting allot of rtns on a certain part#. We do not stock the Pontiac kits but can get them.
I'm also running on of there cranks & mine was within spec out of the box. But any part that you are going to be pushing the limits to should be checked & possibly heat treated.
