My 1976 Trans Am currently has a 400 and a TH400 and 3.23 gears. It is Cameo White with black deluxe interior. It came with the AM/FM Stereo and 8-track tape player (which both work). I currently have a Pioneer CD player in the dash, but have kept the original radio. It has power windows and tilt steering. I've repainted it w/a base coat/clear coat and it only had very minor rust in the bottom rear 1/4's when I got it two years ago which is pretty amazing considering that it is an original Michigan car. I've currently run a best of 14.6 @ 96mph, but I'm building a 455 for it and am hoping to put a 200R4 overdrive transmission in it this summer. You can read about my 455 build up in the Drivetrain section of the bulliten board. I am currently working on a web site w/source information on 69-79 Trans Ams at
http://www.transamsource.net (very incomplete at this time) that will eventually outline the buildup of my motor, have pics of my car, have stats, etc. etc.
Let's hear who else on this board has 74-76 Birds!!
Later,
