thank you steve for the pin placement , when i measure back 5" from the front of the hood there is no place to atach the pin to that looks flat or strong enough to hold the hood down, like to know where the pins atach on the core support area, i need something strong as i will not have the factory latch, my hood is a fiberglass repo. you can send me an e-mail at
