I painted mine with good ole 1200 degree paint from the parts store. It started out black and has turned a sort of dark chocolate brown. And its still there. I did cure the paint by running the engine for short periods of time and then allowing it to cool. I drive the car regularly and estimate running it about 2000 miles since the installation. Be careful putting the manifolds on after painting or coating, especially on the drivers side. They will get scratched up. David
