The comp cam 280 is a bit radical, but I am running a looser convertor, gears...ect. It is going to be removed soon. You are not going to know everything about the cam from just the specs in the magazine. You need to look at the cam card. What I would do is call Ultradyne and ask for techical advice. Your cam should be dialed into your motor not a one size fits all. I have having one ground for me. I have used Comp 268 and the Comp 280, both were just OK
