Have not heard of that but I have studebaker with stude 289 it is a pretty big motor dimension wise. When people look under my hood they think it is a much bigger displacement. The stude motor is a very nice motor in itself it comes stock with a gear drive, forged rods and crank, solid lifter cam,separate water jacketed intake (eight bolts and it is off), externaly servicable oil pump, round 4 bolt water pump and center bolt valve covers.
