Those numbers are from the book, "75 Years of Pontiac-Oakland" written by John Gunnell and published by Crestline. This book came out in the early 80s and is a great reference, unfortunately it's been out of print for years and years. So, if you're looking for one they are hard to find and cost $$.
It also has production numbers for Tempests, I'll take a look tonight when I get home from work.
