where is the "P9C08B" cast on the transmision?
I have a a 68 4 speed as well, I couldn't see the numbers. It has a thin layer of dirt & grease on it, but I didn't want to scratch the aluminum up scraping away looking around for the numbers.
It was pretty cool to see no one ever had the trans out of the car before me. Looks really nice under the layer of dirt. I even notice a section that had a blob of pink paint on it.
Must have been an assemblie line thing?
