I have a lot of miles on since I bought the RA III aftermarket cast headers, and this is the first leak. But I still have the blue metal Fel-Pro gaskets that came with it, so I am wondering it I am better off with or without. If I can raise that side of the engine just a couple inches I should be able to slip on the gasket. I agree, that 2 bolt flange on the drivers side is a pain. I use a mirror when tightening it to be sure the flange goes on properly. This has proven to reduce the swearing when firing it up after re & re's.
