I guess the next thing I would check is the oil pressure sending unit and the wire. You did get a sending unit for gauges? Did the old oil light work? Also I think its the wiper switch bracket that attaches to and grounds the gauges to the dash, is that making a good connection to get your ground on the back of the gauges an the dash?(since the gauges themselves only bolt to plastic)
