Yes I did stuff a T56 in my 68. I did have to use a saws-all, but hey it's a modified car right? Some of the details are at Tiger EFI T56 Info. This is the backdoor link as I just had to relink out site to the domain name [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif[/img]. Tim Dean (member of the Souther California Gathering of Goats 800-GTO-1964) has a Richmond 5 speed in his 64 and loves it. I don't recommend the T56 if you are going to have more than about 450hp [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img] and do any drag racing. My 68 is putting out about 520hp right now, but I do high speed road racing so the T56 still lives.
