The 74 Esprit should have come with the deluxe seats. You may or may not need foam to go with the seat covers. It depends how good or bad your seats are under the covers. It also generally depends on the weight of the previous owner(s) as a heavy person will flatten out the foam and may even crack the seat framework itself. New seat covers installed can run $500 or more, especially if you need new foam. Also bear in mind that the 2nd generation Firebird seats did not have any reclining ability if that is of importance to you. They are usually pretty comfortable when done the right way, especially the deluxe seats.
