I think even if you reverse the grills, they'll be too close to the top edge. Are the mounting tabs on the light housings centered or offset? Maybe the lights are upside down if that's the case..
The '66 is easy, since the rear part of the housing is molded into the grill.
That is an awesome looking car.........
