Thaks for the info Tom. This guy says he has 3 complete original M/T HEMIs. Is it true ? Is he credible? Has anyone seen them to verify? I am sure he has a lot of rare stuff but I would not consider his word of having 3 complete as enough. Does he have pics?
If what he says is true than apparantely there are at least 4 of them including mine.

I would like to meet Fritz someday. I almost drove over to the left coast last night to attend the Long Beach swap meet. However my nephew had towed out from Albuquerque to race at the Et finals at Speedworld so I spent the day and eve there instead.
I do not question Fritz comments and opinions on the HEMI stuff. He is probably the best source as to what happened and how it happened. He can also share in what worked and what didn't. However, he is not the final word on what can be done. You are only limited on what you can do by your imagination and budget. The HEMIs have a lot more potential than many will give credit.
I do not agree about needing special blocks. There are other ways to get around the ex pushrod situation. If you think like a restorer, you are trying to recreate something that has already been done. You have to think like a racer, you are bringing things to the next phase and to advance the design to make it better, stronger, faster.
Mr p266- Who ever you are. ( I never did understand why they allow people to post without using their real name). Good luck with your HEMI project. Do it, it will worth all the effort! The another M/T HEMI on the strip will be a good thing.
