I think I can chime in here. Ground, Ground, Ground. I had a problem and the ground is so important. I had one ground strap that was garbage. The voltage regulator was old and not making good contact. I installed new ground straps from the body to the frame, engine to the frame and the frame to the body and installed a new regulator and made sure those contacts were good and my problems went away. Oh yeah, thanks George and to everyone who helped me on that.
