lights surge
Before I switched to the solid state I ran a wire from the negative battery to the regulator. Didnt help. The solid state has been working pretty good till the other night. I have a nos points delco 511 I may have to try which is correct for a 63 tempest. The gauge is the needle type where all the power for the car runs through first before it goes anywhere else. Kinda scarey!
