Same here, mine wants to sit slightly high - If I close it harder, the latch has a 'ratchet' that will hold it down. Seems brutal, but that works for me.

On my '70 Le Mans, I can adjust the plastic nose piece that sits above the chrome bumper slightly by loosening bolts and moving the center of the nose up, then tightening the bolts, but there's not much adjustment available.
