Tom I had the same problem of too much too soon. First I reworked the primary metering blocks from 2 600s (w/ power valves) to matching air and fuel circuits and jetted downto 65 jets. then i ground the hump in the throttle arm to delay the secondaries somewhat. Lastly I replaced single hole pump cams with double hole cam of same profile (From double pumper 50 cc pump) in upside down position , or standard position on dp carbs. Oh and screw in high speed air bleeds on primaries helped too. All of this made it very very streetable. I drive the car as often as possible. Ray
