Cool And so it begins

Well, this past weekend I finally started the restoration of my 68 HO 4-speed car. We disassembled the frame and repaired the cracks by grafting in a fresh frame piece from a 70 gto. Guess what, it wasn't exactly contoured the same. So after 6 hours of cutting and fabbing, you can not tell we welded on it.

Saturday was to be sandblast day, but lo and behold it snowed. That will have to wait, in the interim I may investigate the galvanizing route. In the meantime, time to order some quality Moog suspension pieces and get the rear end rebuilt!!!! Finally started after 5 long years of parts gathering!!!!!
