Default Another Pontiac/Hampton blower coming!

Well, my lovely bride surprised the hell out of me when she announced that Dad is getting a Hampton 8-71 for my 428 in the LeMans. I've been reading the posts of Supergas Dil, and others, gotta say I'm about as jazzed as it gets! Due to budget constraints though, I'll be using the stock 428 cast crank with a second keyway cut in the snout. I just freshened the shortblock last winter, but will tear down again for inspection, possible rings and bearings. The motor has about a dozen 250 nitrous hits on it, so the crank will get magged again. I've always liked this little 428, so the 455 will go on the back burner til next winter. I'm running Eagle H beams, and Ross pistons with a 20cc dish. I have enough sets of heads to get the CR at 8, or 8.5 to 1. Talked to Don Hampton today, and he seems like a heck of a guy. Looking forward to doing business with him. I'll be back to talk about cam choice, currently running an Ultradyne 288/296 adv. solid flat tappet. I think I need a LSA greater than 106? ANY of you guys have input, I'm all ears! This is my first blower set-up, and I have a lot to learn. Thanks in advance, will post progress.
