Default antifreeze leak, rear of engine

Finding the occasional lil amounts of antifreeze in the lip of the oil filter. Also, find it running down the rear of the block/bell housing toward the trans. Does not seem to be originating from heads/gaskets/joints/seems, etc. Never a major issue and never loose any significant amount of fluid. Just an annoyance in trying to keep engine clean. I noticed this last year (it was and is only an occasional occurence---not every time I drive). I replaced heater hoses thinking they may have developed leaks. Seemed to correct problem, but I am starting to notice it again. I believe I heard the rear heater hose fitting is pressed into the block...is this the likely site of my leak?? If so what is the cure??? Remove/replace?? Simple job or do I need to find a "specialist"? I appreciate your input, in advance! 70, 400 YZ block...if that makes any difference. Thanks!!
