The Pontiac piece would be a little more complex due to the block not being skirted...hence the higher price. For a fuel application (such as Barcak's) it will also be cross-bolted.

but couldn't you use a design simular to that but it would taper to the block @ the oil pan. (if you understand what I'm getting at) that way it is tieing all the mains & the block together, stoping the movement in the crank. or am I incorect.
