I got that same little car for Xmas this year, and thought the same thing. The paint job IS pretty cool.
But then again, black flames? I mean, there's no such thing as a black flame. Red, orange, yellow . . . even blue or white - all legit. But black? Not sure it would look as cool on a full-sized car as on a little die-cast.
