I've had the stationwagon springs in my 66 for 7 years now. It sets well, and yes you do need to use a different shock or it will "top" out when you go over a bump. If you are interested i can post pics and part numbers for both the springs and shocks. I used a TRW spring for a 66 tempest wagon and a shock for a 66 full size pontiac. It rides great has a nice stance but not up in the air.
